Tobago People’s Party (TPP) supporter Jennifer Bruce says she wants supporters of the People’s National Movement (PNM) who allegedly attacked her on Sunday to be criminally prosecuted.
Bruce admitted she pulled a knife during a clash with the PNM supporters during a TPP motorcade, saying she did so in self-defence but it only escalated the situation.
In an interview with TV6 on the sister island as Tobagonians cast their votes in the THA election yesterday, Bruce said in retrospect, she should have driven away when her TPP flag was allegedly pulled from her car in Bon Accord by PNM supporters while she was participating in the TPP’s motorcade.
