TOBAGO People's Party (TPP) candidate for Tobago East David Thomas reported to police yesterday that he was assaulted in Speyside during a walkabout.
Thomas spoke with the Express while he was at the Roxborough Hospital seeking medical attention.
He said the incident occurred shortly after 5 p.m. while he was at a house in Speyside trying to speak with a resident.
