Three police posts ready, awaiting Commissioner’s approval

THE newly constructed police posts at Tarouba, Tunapuna and Grand Bazaar are expected to become operational soon, pending final appro­val from Commissioner of Police Allister Guevarro and senior executive officers of the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service.

So said Homeland Security Minister Ro­ger Alexander as he respon­ded to questions from reporters about the Government’s rollout of police posts at strategic locations across T&T, following the formal opening of the temporary Fire Station in Prin­ces Town yesterday.

“I am waiting on the Police Commissioner and the seniors to give me the final okay, but it should take place soon,” Alexander said.
