DEPUTY Commissioner of Police Junior Benjamin said the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service is looking forward to the opening of several new police posts and intends to make maximum use of the facilities, including one at the Eddie Hart Savannah in Tacarigua.

The Express visited the Tacarigua post yesterday and observed that the structure appeared to be fully completed but was not yet operational. The door remained closed, while a lone security officer sat nearby in a blue tent.

Benjamin, contacted by the Express yesterday, said the police service was eager to begin using the facilities.
