Three army-police posts to be built in Tobago

Con­struc­tion of three new army-po­lice posts in To­ba­go is sched­uled to be­gin this week­end, the To­ba­go House of As­sem­bly (THA) has an­nounced.

The posts will be es­tab­lished at Ply­mouth, Sig­nal Hill and Good­wood as part of a na­tion­al se­cu­ri­ty ini­tia­tive to es­tab­lish 30 army-po­lice posts across Trinidad and To­ba­go over the next four months.

The THA said the project is be­ing un­der­tak­en in col­lab­o­ra­tion with the Min­istry of Home­land Se­cu­ri­ty and forms part of the Gov­ern­ment's ef­forts to strength­en se­cu­ri­ty na­tion­wide.
