Construction of three new army-police posts in Tobago is scheduled to begin this weekend, the Tobago House of Assembly (THA) has announced.
The posts will be established at Plymouth, Signal Hill and Goodwood as part of a national security initiative to establish 30 army-police posts across Trinidad and Tobago over the next four months.
The THA said the project is being undertaken in collaboration with the Ministry of Homeland Security and forms part of the Government's efforts to strengthen security nationwide.
