Philip Morris Trinidad and Tobago is rolling out its Underage Access Prevention Programme, targeting more than 3,500 points of sale nationwide this year to help prevent tobacco and nicotine products from being sold to minors.
The programme involves educational visits, informational materials and posters aimed at reinforcing age restrictions and helping retailers apply age-verification requirements consistently.
Philip Morris TT Corporate Affairs Manager Marisa Bernard said the company was particularly concerned about minors accessing electronic cigarettes.
