Caribbean urged to strengthen disaster preparedness

The Caribbean is being urged to move beyond simply responding to disasters and instead strengthen its ability to anticipate, manage and recover from increasingly complex threats.

The call came at a validation workshop in Barbados focused on building the next level of the region’s Regional Response Mechanism.
