THE five female teenagers who were charged following an assault of a Form Four student from Holy Faith Convent, Couva, faced a magistrate for the first time yesterday.
The matter was transferred to the Children Court.
The teens, who are between the ages of 14 and 18 and are from Couva, had received summonses last month to appear yesterday before Couva Magistrate Alexander Prince on the charge of assault occasioning actual bodily harm, laid by Constable Boodoo.
