Hours after six-year-old Zi Feng Cao of Johnson Street, Parika, East Bank, Essequibo (EBE), was chopped to death, the 76-year-old Chinese national has confessed to the crime.
It was reported that the child was chopped to the neck and was pronounced dead at the De Kinderen Regional Hospital on Wednesday after he was rushed to the institution by his parents.
The suspect, upon his arrest, did not only confess but also led investigators to the area where he had disposed of the murder weapon â a 12â stainless steel blade.
