(Kaieteur News) – An accident involving two cars and a motorcycle on the Manchester Public Road, Corentyne over the weekend has left a Corentyne father of two dead.
Chatram Bridgbasie, a 27-year-old resident of Lot 59 Lesbeholden North, Black Bush Polder, Corentyne, was killed after his motorcycle collided into two cars, police in the Region confirmed.
In a release, the police said the fatal accident occurred on Friday at about 19:45hrs on Manchester Public Road, Corentyne, Berbice, involving motorcar # PAH 1597, owned and driven by a 29-year- old male of Whim Village, Corentyne, Berbice, who is also a member of the Guyana Defence Force (GDF); motorcar # PAN 7003, owned and driven by a 20-year-old male of Fyrish Village, Corentyne, Berbice and a member of the Guyana Police Force (GPF), and motorcycle # CH 298, owned and driven by Bridgbasie.
