A traffic warden was injured at the Piarco International Airport on Tuesday morning after a motorist allegedly drove off while receiving a ticket.
According to the Airports Authority of Trinidad and Tobago, the incident occurred on the Departures Concourse.
Preliminary reports state that the traffic warden was issuing a ticket for a traffic violation when the motorist attempted to leave, and the vehicle made contact with the officer.
