The leader of the Ja­maica Labour Par­ty (JLP), An­drew Hol­ness, will be sworn in next week for his third term in of­fice as Prime Min­is­ter of Ja­maica.

He will be sworn in by Gov­er­nor Gen­er­al Sir Patrick Allen  dur­ing a cer­e­mo­ny at King’s House  – the of­fi­cial res­i­dence of the Gov­er­nor Gen­er­al  – at 4 p.m.( lo­cal time)

Dur­ing the cer­e­mo­ny, Hol­ness will take the Oath of Al­le­giance and Oath of Of­fice and will be pre­sent­ed with his in­stru­ment of ap­point­ment by the Gov­er­nor Gen­er­al.
