Medical professionals agree that an increased age limit for alcohol and marijuana use will benefit young people and society.
The Express yesterday spoke to Dr Joel Teelucksingh, Dr Varma Deyalsingh, and former health minister Dr Fuad Khan on Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar’s move to increase the legal age for drinking alcohol from 18 to 21, and marijuana use from 18 to 25.
