Police have launched a homicide investigation into the shooting death of Kimo Narcist, 37, proprietor of Bar Code Claxton Bay, who was gunned down outside his business late Sunday night.
According to police, Narcist, of Hilltop, Claxton Bay, was standing in the kitchen area of a food hut located to the front of his bar around 11:30 p.m. when a vehicle pulled up. An unidentified man exited, walked into the kitchen, and shot him once in the head before fleeing the scene in the same vehicle. The make, model, and registration number of the getaway vehicle remain unknown.
With the assistance of a bystander, Narcist was rushed to the San Fernando General Hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival at 12:03 a.m.
