“We have had no agreement for any military attack. If there is any such plan, we are not part of any of those discussions.”
This was the assurance given by Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar yesterday while speaking with the media following a meeting with Grenada’s Prime Minister, Dickon Mitchell, at the Diplomatic Centre in St Ann’s.
Persad-Bissessar, who was questioned about the tension between Venezuela and the United States, asserted that no plans have been made for the US to use any of the military bases in Trinidad and Tobago.
