Road blocked in Pax Vale after tree falls on power lines

Motorists and commuters are being advised to avoid Pax Vale, Santa Cruz, following a complete road blockage caused by a fallen tree that has come into contact with Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission (T&TEC) power lines.
The Ministry of Rural Development and Local Government said Power Saw Operators from the Disaster Management Coordinating Unit of the San Juan/Laventille Regional Corporation are on site.
T&TEC has also been notified and clearing operations are expected.
