Saddle Road cleared after fallen tree

UPDATE: Saddle Road, Santa Cruz, has been cleared and is now passable following the removal of a fallen tree that blocked the roadway earlier today.

The tree was uprooted during heavy rainfall and fell onto electricity infrastructure, damaging two utility poles and causing power outages in surrounding areas.

T&TEC crews continue restoration work, with power supply being restored to affected customers in New Pax Vale, Hololo Road and Jaggan Village.
