In a reĀlease isĀsued toĀday, CARIĀCOM said leadĀers ādisĀcussed the inĀcreased seĀcuĀriĀty build-up in the Caribbean and the poĀtenĀtial imĀpacts on MemĀber Statesā, and āsave in reĀspect of Trinidad and ToĀbaĀgo who reĀserved its poĀsiĀtion, heads agreedā to reafĀfirm āthe prinĀciĀple of mainĀtainĀing the Caribbean ReĀgion as a Zone of Peace.
The group alĀso reĀitĀerĀatĀed the imĀporĀtance of diĀaĀlogue and enĀgageĀment toĀwards the peaceĀful resĀoĀluĀtion of disĀputes and conĀflict.
