A 42-year-old maxi-taxi driver was attacked and robbed on the Priority Bus Route early Sunday morning.
Police said the victim was driving his red-band maxi for hire around 6:45 a.m. on when he was signaled to stop near Olton Road. Upon stopping, he was approached by four men, one of whom was armed with a knife.
The attackers struck the driver on the back of his head and stole $5,300 before fleeing in different directions.
