(Kaieteur News) – Siemens Energy has begun preparations to take over the operation and maintenance of Guyana’s 300-megawatt combined-cycle power plant being built under Phase One of the Gas-to-Energy Project.
Representatives of the company met with Prime Minister Brigadier (Ret’d) Mark Phillips at his office on Friday to discuss preparations for the plant’s start-up.
Siemens Energy has been selected as the Operations and Maintenance (O&M) operator for the power plant and its supporting facilities.
