An Arou­ca man has plead­ed guilty af­ter be­ing charged with pos­ses­sion of drugs for the pur­pose of traf­fick­ing, days af­ter po­lice found mar­i­jua­na, ec­sta­sy and mol­ly at his home.

Po­lice said of­fi­cers of the North Cen­tral Di­vi­sion Task Force Area East, the Arou­ca CID and the Po­lice Ca­nine Unit went to a house on Thomas Trace last Fri­day af­ter­noon.

While search­ing the home, of­fi­cers found a quan­ti­ty of mar­i­jua­na in plas­tic wrap­ping, ec­sta­sy pills and pack­ets con­tain­ing the drug 3,4-meth­yl­ene­dioxymetham­phet­a­mine, al­so known as “mol­ly”.
