A company courier was charged with embezzlement, larceny and wasting police’s time after he admitted to using money he claimed was stolen, to pay his bills.
Around 11 am on April 20, the 37-year-old man, who works for a cell-phone dealer, went to the Sangre Grande Police Station to report a theft.
He told officers he went to the Sangre Grande Hospital at around 8 am and parked his employer’s white Nissan Serena on a nearby street.
