THE Government has delivered on its promise of a $10 million grant to the Spiritual Baptist community for the completion of its cathedral in Couva.

The grant was presented on Saturday by Prime Minister Stuart Young, fulfilling a promise made by his predecessor, Dr Keith Rowley, in 2020.

It comes days before the community will celebrate Spiritual Shouter Baptist Liberation Day on March 30.
