A 28-year-old labourer was stabbed to death after he attempted to record an altercation on his cell phone along Flemming Street, Longdenville, on Monday evening.
The deceased has been identified as Kyle Edmund of #23 Flemming Street, Longdenville. A 17-year-old boy of the same street, was also wounded during the incident.
Police said that around 6.35 p.m., officers received a report from the E999 Police Command Centre of a man armed with a firearm along Flemming Street. First responders from the Longdenville Police Post responded but found no one armed with a gun.
