An armed security guard on duty at a supermarket in Freeport opened fire on three masked men who entered his workplace and threatened to shoot on Sunday.
The suspects, all wearing hoodies, fled the scene empty handed.
But as the security guard chased the men out of the building, police said, a man driving a vehicle out of the parking lot was struck by a bullet.
