A DOCTOR whose medical internship was cut short in 2018 after a video of her allegedly making racist remarks circulated online may soon return to the public health system, following new developments in the Industrial Court.
Social activist Wendell Eversley, who has supported Dr Dehlia Gabriel throughout her legal battle, announced via a video posted on social media yesterday that the Industrial Court has given attorneys for both Gabriel and the Ministry of Health until January 20 to attempt a settlement.
Eversley said given the ruling of the court, he is hopeful the long-running dispute will finally be resolved.
