A HIGH Court judge has deferred his ruling in a constructive dismissal lawsuit brought by a former employee against a medical practitioner who was previously suspended by the Medical Board, with a decision expected later this year.
Justice Christopher Sieuchand reserved judgment until June 24 after hearing evidence in a virtual trial that concluded yesterday.
The claim was brought by Chantelle Arielle Figaro against Dr Avinash Sawh; his wife, Allison Dass-Sawh; and their company, Sawh’s Medical Associates, arising out of her resignation from the practice in late 2020.
