According to police reports, the incident occurred around 3:00 p.m. on June 10 along Saddle Road near Saddle Vale. The victims — a 49-year-old woman and her 78-year-old father — were travelling in a Honda Civic when they were intercepted by a grey Mitsubishi Lancer that overtook and blocked their vehicle diagonally across the road.
Two men, dressed in black and wearing face coverings, exited the Lancer armed with what appeared to be firearms. They approached the victims' vehicle, announced a holdup, and demanded valuables.
