At­tor­ney Mar­tin George, who is out on $150,000 bail af­ter be­ing charged with griev­ous sex­u­al as­sault and in­de­cent as­sault, is threat­en­ing to sue the Trinidad Ex­press news­pa­per over its re­port­ing of the mat­ter.

This fol­lows a head­line ti­tled “In­de­cent George” on the front page which George’s at­tor­neys says “jeop­ar­dis­es in a most fun­da­men­tal way our client’s right to a fair tri­al, and is a shame­less and de­lib­er­ate and cheeky act of pre-tri­al pub­lic­i­ty.”
