The Diego Martin Borough Corporation (DMBC) activated its Disaster Management Unit at 11:00 a.m. today in response to heavy rainfall on May 17 and 18 that resulted in several incidents across the borough.
According to a media release from the Corporation, field officers were promptly dispatched to assess damage reports, including flooding, landslides, and fallen trees.
The summary of incidents received includes five reports of landslides, five cases of flooding, six instances of fallen trees, one report of roof damage, and one affected structure.
