The Diego Mar­tin Bor­ough Cor­po­ra­tion (DM­BC) ac­ti­vat­ed its Dis­as­ter Man­age­ment Unit at 11:00 a.m. to­day in re­sponse to heavy rain­fall on May 17 and 18 that re­sult­ed in sev­er­al in­ci­dents across the bor­ough.

Ac­cord­ing to a me­dia re­lease from the Cor­po­ra­tion, field of­fi­cers were prompt­ly dis­patched to as­sess dam­age re­ports, in­clud­ing flood­ing, land­slides, and fall­en trees.

The sum­ma­ry of in­ci­dents re­ceived in­cludes five re­ports of land­slides, five cas­es of flood­ing, six in­stances of fall­en trees, one re­port of roof dam­age, and one af­fect­ed struc­ture.
