Student held after stealing alcohol from neighbour’s house

A student from a secondary school in Tunapuna was arrested by police on Friday, after he broke into a neighbour’s house and stole a quantity of alcohol and jewellery.

The 17-year-old was held after officers viewed the video footage recorded on the victim’s home security system.

Police said the victim, aged 43, of Claxton Bay, works as a Nursing Assistant at the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex, Mt Hope.
