A 19-year-old Mor­vant man is ex­pect­ed to be ques­tioned af­ter he was ar­rest­ed by po­lice while in­side the Mt Lam­bert home of an el­der­ly man on Sun­day af­ter­noon.

Po­lice said the 78-year-old man, who was not at home at the time, re­ceived a call from a rel­a­tive who told him that his Nis­san Lau­rel car and maxi which were parked in the front yard were dam­aged.

The rel­a­tive al­so re­port­ed that the kitchen door to the home ap­peared to be open.
