ELECTIONS and Boundaries Commission (EBC) Chief Election Officer Fern Narcis-Scope said a woman who previously served as a presiding officer will not be allowed to work on the April 28 general election day after she was recorded on video pledging support for the People’s National Movement (PNM).
The Express learnt United National Congress (UNC) general secretary Peter Kanhai lodged a complaint with the EBC after a one-minute video circulated on social media, showing a woman being interviewed about the elections whilst in her vehicle.
