Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar said yesterday Trinidad and Tobago is not a launching pad for any attacks against Venezuela, and this country’s assets and people are not at risk.
In addition, she said, T&T will not participate in any act that will bring harm to the Venezuelan people.
The Express contacted the Prime Minister yesterday for comments in response to former prime minister Dr Keith Rowley’s call for her to tell the nation what arrangement T&T has with the United States and his claims that this country was a risk of being a target in any conflict between the US and Venezuela.
