Legal and police representatives have welcomed recent judicial comments that recordings from body-worn cameras can protect both citizens and law enforcement officers.
Attorney Saira Lakhan said she supports the position advanced by Justice Frank Seepersad, noting that body cameras provide an objective account of police-citizen encounters and reduce disputes over what occurred.
