Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar says Trinidad and Tobagoâs alliance with United States President Donald Trumpâs Americas Counter Cartel Coalition will strengthen the countryâs fight against guns and drugs.
In a statement to the Parliament on Friday, Persad-Bissessar reported on her visit to the United States to attend the Shield of the Americas Summit in Doral, Florida, on Trumpâs invitation.
The Prime Minister said she had spoken directly with Trump:
