A man who was shot during an attempted home invasion in Carnbee, Tobago, stunned police by calling them for help—then confessing to the crime while being treated at the Scarborough General Hospital.
Police say the man contacted them himself and was taken to hospital for treatment.
The incident occurred around 3:20 a.m. on Sunday at a home in Sherwood Court, Sherwood Park. According to police reports, the homeowner—a businessman and licensed firearm holder—heard a noise outside and saw a shadowy figure near his bedroom window.
