(Kaieteur News) ā Kevin Bess called āGenerator Manā, age 63, a mechanic of Barama Line, Baramita, North West District, has been charged with two counts of Possession of Narcotics for the Purpose of Trafficking, in relation to 1,180.7 grams of cannabis and 23.1 grams of cocaine found in his possession on August 29, 2026, at Warapa, Baramita, North West District.
Bess appeared today, Monday, August 31, 2026, via Zoom, at the Port Kaituma Magistrateās Court before Magistrate Robindranauth Singh, where the charges were read to him separately.
He pleaded guilty to both charges and was sentenced to twelve (12) monthsā imprisonment on each charge, to run concurrently.
