President Kangaloo Calls For Responsible Citizenship As T&T Marks 50 Years As A Republic

President Christine Carla Kangaloo ORTT is calling on citizens to reflect on the meaning and responsibilities of republicanism as Trinidad and Tobago marks the 50th anniversary of Republic Day.

In her national message, she reflected on the country’s journey of self-determination, urging citizens to uphold the values of dignity, equality, freedom and democratic responsibility while ensuring that security and liberty are protected together.
