THE Bar Owners Association says it supports the decision to raise the legal age for the purchase of alcohol from 18 to 21 but warns it may fuel the underground alcohol industry.

Satesh Moonasar said while the proposed age limits met the international benchmark, it might not be a realistic move in TT and could cause more harm than good.
