An elderly man was crushed by a truck during Carnival Monday celebrations along Cipero Street, San Fernando.
Eyewitnesses said that around 4.10 p.m. Selwyn Little, a pensioner, was holding a banner in front of music truck when the brakes of the vehicle failed and the truck rolled over him.
He died on the scene, causing Cipero Street to be cordoned off.
