Li­cens­ing of­fi­cers are ex­pect­ed to to­day in­spect the mu­sic truck that crushed a rev­eller to death on Car­ni­val Mon­day in San Fer­nan­do.

The in­ci­dent claimed the life of 79-year-old Sel­wyn Lit­tle al­so known as “Short­man” of Mon Re­pos.

Lit­tle was hold­ing the ban­ner for D Jam­merz In­ter­na­tion­al Mil­i­tary Mas in front of the truck on Cof­fee Street, but as they en­tered Cipero Street, the truck rolled over Lit­tle. He died on the spot. The truck even­tu­al­ly stopped a dis­tance away and was im­pound­ed at the San Fer­nan­do Po­lice Sta­tion. The 43-year-old dri­ver of Friend­ship Vil­lage, San Fer­nan­do, was de­tained by the po­lice, ques­tioned and re­leased lat­er that day, po­lice said.
