AS two fraud charges against him were discharged yesterday, United National Congress’ Dr David Lee repeated what he had been saying from the beginning—that he was innocent.
He told the Express yesterday that the matters were turmoil for his family.
Following the court hearing, Lee, the UNC candidate for Caroni Central in the upcoming general election, spoke briefly to the Express by phone while engaged in his campaign walkabout. He said, “God is good. I thank God it’s over because my family, my wife, my mother have been through a turmoil for the last three years by this matter.”
