The National Insurance Board of Trinidad and Tobago (NIBTT) is making it easier for customers to submit claims. Effective October 1, 2026, customers will no longer be required to make an online appointment to submit their claims. Claims services will instead be provided on a walk-in basis at NIBTT Service Centres.
Customers may visit their nearest Service Centre to submit claims Monday to Friday, between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. The change follows a review of NIBTT’s claims submission process as part of the organisation’s ongoing efforts to improve service delivery, accessibility, efficiency and the overall customer experience.
NIBTT recognised that some customers experienced difficulty securing appointments through the online portal. The move to a walk-in service is intended to provide customers with a more accessible and convenient way to access claims services.
