ST JAMES, Jamaica — Opposition Spokesperson on Labour and Social Security, Wavell Hinds has expressed deep sadness at the death of construction worker Everton Campbell following a workplace incident at the Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay on Friday.
Hinds extended condolences to Campbell’s family, friends and colleagues, noting that no family should have to contend with the loss of a loved one who simply went out to earn a living and did not return home.
“I extend my deepest condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of Mr Campbell. The loss of a worker in these circumstances is deeply painful, and my thoughts are especially with his loved ones as they come to terms with this tragedy,” Hinds said in a release Saturday.
