Despite the less than ideal weather conditions for the better part of the morning period on Easter Monday, over 100 children from care homes across Trinidad took advantage of the cooler conditions at the Aranguez Sports Club for a day of games, food and fun experiences, courtesy of the Mr. Brown and Friends Easter Children’s Charity Event.
The vision for the event came to life in 2021, when retired entrepreneur Carlyle Brown and friends organised and executed the very first Easter Children’s Charity Event for 50 children at the Corbin Estate, specifically for children residing in children’s homes and those living with cerebral palsy.
Event Coordinator Marian Bradshaw-Allicock said the event has since grown, and in 2026, the team hosted over 100 children from eight homes.
