There was an exÂploÂsion of colour, splenÂdour and creÂativÂiÂty at the Queen’s Park SaÂvanÂnah, Port-of-Spain, yesÂterÂday, as hunÂdreds of chilÂdren parÂticÂiÂpatÂed in the T&T Red Cross SoÂciÂety (TTRCS) ChilÂdren’s CarÂniÂval 2025. PresÂiÂdent of TTRCS Jill De Bourg said this year’s CarÂniÂval was in good hands, as the soÂciÂety has seen an inÂcrease in chilÂdren’s regÂisÂterÂing comÂpared to 2024. The theme for this year’s event was “EuÂphoÂria of Mas”.
SpeakÂing with Guardian MeÂdia afÂter her welÂcome adÂdress to paÂtrons, sponÂsors, and volÂunÂteers, De Bourg said the goal was to bring back the pasÂsion, spirÂit, beauÂty, essence and love inÂto chilÂdren’s mas.
