Soldier in court for shopkeeper’s killing

A Lance Corporal of the T&T Defence Force appeared before a Master of the High Court charged with the murder of Chezerae Kidney-Ramdass.

The police service said Kevin Hamilton, 40, also called Frame of Upper Belle Road, Belmont, Port-of-Spain, appeared before Master Whitney Franklin at South Court C charged with murder. He was not called upon to plead and was remanded in custody.

A sufficiency hearing is set for September 30.
