Banks DIH Limited has officially concluded its âCrown the Roadâ promotion with the presentation of the grand prize, a brand-new SWM SUV valued at $5.5 million, to Vijay Latchminarine of East Canefield, Canje, Berbice. The 10-week promotion, which ran from April 10 to June 19, rewarded Banks Beer customers at 15 participating bars across Guyana with instant cash prizes of $350,000 each. A total of $5.25 million in consolation prizes was distributed during the campaign through regular draws held throughout the promotion period. The grand prize draw brought the promotion to a close, with Vijay Latchminarine emerging as the winner of the SWM SUV. Sales and Marketing Executive at Banks DIH Limited, Lee Baptiste, said the campaign was designed to reward loyal Banks Beer consumers while connecting with customers at their preferred entertainment spots.
âCrown the Road was about putting Banks Beer where our customers already are, at their favourite bars, enjoying time with friends and giving them a real chance to be rewarded for their loyalty,â Baptiste said. He added that the handover of the SUV represented the type of customer engagement the company aimed to achieve through the promotion.
âSeeing Mr Latchminarine drive away in the grand prize SUV is exactly the kind of moment we hoped this promotion would create,â he said. In a release to the media, Banks DIH said that Banks Beer, a Monde Selection Gold Quality award-winning product of Banks DIH Limited, remains one of the companyâs key brands and is produced by the local beverage manufacturer, which has operated in Guyana for more than seven decades.
