Independent Senator Anthony Vieira has urged the Kamla Persad-Bissessar Government to be “bold in vision, measured in action and mindful always that trust is earned not assumed.”

He was speaking at the Senate sitting yesterday, where Senate President Wade Mark invited leaders of the Government, Opposition, and Independent benches to deliver remarks on the occasion of the opening of the 13th Republican Parliament.
